Hi,

I have managed to photograph the Pleiades using my Canon EOS 1000D and Skywatcher Explorer 150P. I used 90 second exposures at ISO 1600 with a total of 15 lights. I use DeepSkyStacker and Gimp for processing the images.

I have a feeling that I need to rotate the camera on the telescope to get it properly, am I correct in this assumption? Thanks.

Depends there is no wrong way in space, however the earth bound view, yup a rotation.

I notice a bit of enlongation in the right side stars but a very nice image
