Thanks buts its a $250 difference! I wonder if optics are different? They have the EF version on prime for $255.

Thank you, the textures in the sand were great that night, it was a little tricky to get my lighting in the right position though...

They still are Wilson lol… I'm not starting anything lol….. : I did not take it seriously… It was a joke but it branded this R as the squirrel… Maybe Canon should use that lol

Lol I know… The limitations of todays cameras are in the minds of the naysayers. The R rocks in many ways.

I waste my shutter actuations on fur… can't imagine how same make it life and death.

Has anyone used the EF adapter with the samyang / rokinon 14mm? I've really wanted that lens for a long time. I bought the RF 35mm for a walk around but I really wanna get back into wide angle landscape stuff. I had a zenitar 16mm a while back and I loved it.

After extensive testing (well at least 5 minutes anyway ) I can say that it works rather well.

Focus peaking is a real bonus and you can zoom to 10x in the evf for accurate focusing although focus peaking seems to turn off when using the magnified view.

Edit: I forgot to mention that you need to set the camera to be able to shoot without a lens attached!
