Ok. Admittedly.. I have not done much work with a ND filter.... I am a landscape shooter... want to tackle using one...what stop range would any of you recommend? Any work better with the R than others?

I bought a Firecrest, seems to work fine as far as no color casts. I got a 6 stop, I'd say that's the very minimum you should get. Also, if you have a few lenses, look into getting a large filter size and then using step up rings so you can use it on multiple lenses. I watched a youtube video on variable ND's and decided to buy a fixed ND instead of variable after that, seemed like if you don't get the very expensive variable ND's you are going to have issues. (Gerald Undone on youtube if you want to look it up)

Landscape shot while doing a real estate job earlier this week...

Exif is wrong, the RF 15-35mm isn’t in the list yet..

Got my RF 50 and RF 24-70 today! I stopped using UV filters long ago, but this 50 makes me feel like I want one. Something about the moving element on the front - it's like you can watch dust going in...

Love these snowy days. Converted to B&W in DPP, believe it or not. Usually use LR or Silver Efex.

Not for your wallet! :p ;-)a

I've been a bit tempted to go down the RF glass path. Not that I need any more glass, I would like more and see the faster aperture and is would be very helpful in low light.

But those prices (which I'm sure get you an outstanding product) means you are committed to the RF line up.

And of course it's better just to grab the heavy hitters first then buy a less expensive lens then upgrade it later.

I saved around 10% off retail using cpw street prices. Second time I’ve used them and I’d highly recommend it.

But yes, it still stings. I have some stuff for sale if you are interested. ;) Lenses, cars...

Thought I'd try the EOS R with my Sigmonster 300-800mm lens on some female wrens.

Now I see the announced the 70-200. Wish I could pre-order that one. Time to put my EF up for sale...

Once all these EF’s sell, I’ll be down to my 100-400 w/ 2x and 85L, which I use on my M6m2 as a ~135L.

Gorgeous little wrens.
I particularly like the lower one.
Looks like you were on the grass with her.
Very nicely photographed.
