How long did those birds have to pose like that to get the shot?

I decided I was not happy with my R's performance so I decided to take it to Japan for serving. Samurai museum in Tokyo. The moustache is a little off but this is an original. They put them on to intimate. We did find Godzilla.

IMO the Samurai uniform is the most unique of all and always blows me away. They also had an 800 year old sword. Heavy overcast and it rained half the day so the R didn't get that much of a workout.

Fall colors are almost gone around here. Shot with RF 24-240 and CPL.

No way, I don’t think so, because R cannot shoot bird inflight. :p

Just joking, beautiful shot!

I bought an sold two EF 50mm 1.2 lenses. When I read a photographer saying on Facebook the other week that the EF 50mm 1.2 renders the best, it made no sense at all.

The RF 50mm 1.2 is one of the finest lenses I've ever used. I thought it was as good or better than Zeiss Milvus.

I used to have the ef 50mm 1.2 and I also do love that lens..but this one is crazy sharp even at 1.2! I think the ef version may have more "character" to it? It is a lot softer than this one.

I still shoot with the EF 50mm f1.2 still a great lens but i can not say much about the RF since i don't own one. All i can say is that the quality of the images i iger are way better from the R than compared to my older bodies (mk2 and mk3). Hitting that nail biting focus at f1.2 was a bit tough to when i composed and recomposed as well. The r made this lens a breeze to use wide open. Other than softness it does suffer from some significant CA.
