My Aussie Sheila will be 14 this year. Absolute best dog ever, nothing as sweet as a blue eyed, blue Merle, Aussie girl. I am not sure how much time Sheila has left (breed average is 11-12) but I am dreading the inevitable.

I hope you have as wonderful of an experience being an Aussie dad as I have.

This was taken low in the water on a walkway that was moving about. The wind was howling and the waves were hitting the tripod legs. I didn't fancy my chances so I fired off ten long exposures in the hope that one would stick!

This was the last shot, and the only one that wasn't blurry. To celebrate the moment, the sun came out for a moment, lit up the boat shed and produced a rainbow ;-)a (neither of which I noticed when I was taking the shot!)
