mhickman Senior Member More info | Jun 04, 2020 14:44 | #7656 Visited an old abandoned munitions factory in Hammonton, NJ where amatol was produced to do some video with the R on a Zhiyun Crane 3 Lab and the RF 24-105. Leaving it on the gimbal and using the servo motors for zoom with the eye-AF set, we took some photos between getting footage. Always a good time with this model. Jun 05, 2020 13:51 | #7662 Does anyone else think the lens introductions for the R are proceeding at a glacial pace? The camera is coming up on its two year anniversary and they've introduced, what? maybe 4 lenses? And really only one lower end affordable (by my standards) lens, the 24-240. I really hope they've queued up a few for release pretty soon.

And I count 9 lenses in the lineup so far (10 if you count the RF 85mm f/1.2 DS separately from the normal RF 85mm f1.2). Plus rumors are for 7 new lenses in 2020, along with two teleconvertors (two of the lenses are already confirmed). The pandemic may alter the release schedule of those, though.

GammyKnee Senior Member More info | Jun 07, 2020 04:56 | #7665 IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/2j9vvLH Having the EOS R gave me the courage to try the Sigma 50 Art. It really snaps in to focus consistently and accurately on this body - very handy when your subject is getting a bit fidgety because it's time for his evening walk.
