Tried my hand at selfie landscapes today. It might have been better with an empty bench!

Shot with the RF 24-240. I focused 1/3 into the frame but needed a bit more DoF. Don't blame the lens.

I like the feel to this one.

Cheers,
JOE

Out last night to try and get a shot of the comet, difficult to see with naked eye due to light pollution but the lens picked it up.

(RF 70-200mm still not in gear list)

This is the 'One Mile Jetty' in Carnarvon, WA.

It had a reputation for providing some of the states best land based fishing in the state but unfortunately it's been closed for a few years due to structural issues.

That doesn't seem to dissuade the locals though :-)

That's nice and sharp, as well as clean, for I assume to be a x2 Extender. If so, which make/model extender?

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Denis. Yes it's a 2X, Canon version iii
It works well with the R, AF is a bit slow but it locks on nicely. I've used it successfully for BIF.

Very nice. Interesting seeing the 100-400 + 2x at F11. I'm considering the 800 F11 and I'm thinking the 2x may be a better more versatile option

Thanks. Yes, the 100-400ii or iii with a 2x would be much more versatile albeit a fair bit more expensive.

I use the 100-400 + 2X (iii) and it works great on the R (and the M6m2)
