How do you like that combo of EOS R and 16-35? I've thrown in the towel on Canon coming out with an affordable RF lens in that range any time soon, so have been thinking of picking up one of those.

It's a great combo. I've had the 16-35 F4 for several years, I would love to not need the adapter one day, but the RF15-35 is to expensive for me. Maybe in a few years when the prices come down I'll pick up a used one. Zero issues with the adapter though, other than the inconvenience of it. I'm going to pick up another basic adapter so I can just keep it on my 70-200.
