shutterguy Senior Member ![]() More info | May 22, 2022 12:00 | #9129 Does anyone know if the R and R5 share the same bottom design. I am curious if a bottom plate for the R5 will work on the R? The lock pin looks pretty close. ProMediaGear doesn't list a non-grip bottom plate without the L piece for R. I have the ProMediaGear PLCR L-Bracket for Canon EOS-R Body. Sorry, I don't have the R5. The L piece is offset to allow full articulation of the screen while on the tripod (the only one I have seen that does). I just looked at my B&H order and saw it is no longer available there either. Bummer! Charles

Bummer! https://www.bhphotovideo.com …cket_and_l_plate_for.html ![]() I was finding the same, PMG used to make a bracket specifically for the non-gripped EOS R, however it has been discontinued. I have a PMG L bracket with the quick release adapter for EOS R grip, however somedays I don't need the grip. I think I might just have to purchase the universal bracket from them. May 24, 2022 00:36 | #9135 This guy perched on my balcony to get out of the snow. Not that bad considering I shot it through a dirty window. Image hosted by forum (1160143) © patrick j [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
