Great shot!

I saw the cacti high on the hill there! Those only grow in areas where it doesn't get below freezing on a regular basis; The smaller cacti that live up here in Utah actually have an anti-freeze like substance that allows them to make it through the colder snow covered winters

Lichens are really interesting - they're used to measure air quality in some parts of the country... Nice shot! They also do well for abstracts if you can find a nice close up combo of several species in a semi-macro composition

It sure looks like it does well for you!

I'm enjoying my "punishment" with the goofy control setup; reminds me of what Canon did with the older Rebel T series - "oh, so! you don't want the best, then, we're gonna punish you!"

Other than that, I don't see this "life changing" image difference between the R5 and the R for boring slow landscape duty.

It's nice having the 90d on the 100-400ii and a 2 camera setup so I'm not bouncing back n fourth changing lenses as much
