Nice! it's always fun opening new chapters with new challenges!
Ha. I did go through a peak bagging phase, but aged out of it, now it's just light hikes for photos. The elevation adds a degree of difficulty to everything.

One more time for the people in the back. This camera doesn't get nearly the love it deserves. If it shot 15 FPS, people would be standing on their heads over it.

I know the FPS gets knocked, I had no issue shooting Indy cars at the track this past year, it's as fast as my 7D was with much better AF. greyswan wrote in post #19425960 Beautiful! It was actually evening. There was a bit of smoke in the air due to forest fires, so it gave a slightly hazy look. I was bike riding and I noticed how the light caught the trees, so I turned back and hauled out the camera. The smoke was very light, it didn't stop me from a long ride, but it was just enough to play with the light.

Sep 19, 2022 23:38 | #9345 Some Badlands stuff. Funnily enough, I talked to a friend who buzzed through there a few weeks before I did, said a quick trip of a couple of hours through the park was plenty. Much different attitude than a photographer. I was there a few days and felt like I was just starting to get the hang of the place.
