You're on the right track!! Keep going back, take your time, take it in!!

I'm at somewhere between 140-150 trips to Arches - guess what - it never "gets old" - It's really neat to be able to watch the shadows change through the seasons, as opposed to just one time of day...even more important for night photos as you start to figure out where to be for what shots during what months, etc...sometimes it's fun to just sit in the car, have a book, and just be out there without the need/push to run around like crazy...it's just nice not being in a rush...

It's also fun to simply find "YOUR" own photo - sometimes they can be planned, sometimes they just happen, sometimes it's from a crazy night/death hike

Keep posting the badlands stuff - that area looks like a nice blank canvas for all sorts of interesting infinite compositional choices! (Sorta reminds me of the Painted Hills in Oregon - but - on a much larger scale!)

Some Badlands stuff. Funnily enough, I talked to a friend who buzzed through there a few weeks before I did, said a quick trip of a couple of hours through the park was plenty. Much different attitude than a photographer. I was there a few days and felt like I was just starting to get the hang of the place.

Ian Plant and Joseph Rossbach did a video on the Badlands that got me interested in the first place. They pointed out that there are no iconic shots or locations there, you have to get in there and explore, kind of a tricky place to photograph, apart from some of the overlooks. But yes, lots of possibilities.

Your time in Arches has paid off, you've gotten the best shots I've ever seen from there.

That one certainly is getting ready for Halloween - a spooky hand rising from the lake!

It looks a lot more spooky in this light than at mid day.

I'm seeing more of these. Sort of a population boom going on I think. These two (actually 3, a third is hidden) were a couple miles apart on Kenosha Pass.

Those things scare me more than bears for some reason! Nice shots... I think all those Moose attack videos from years ago probably did it!

I have to say bumping into that pair in the second picture did cause me to alter my plans a little bit, stayed out of this little gully I was planning to drop into.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I used DXO to correct the perspective, no other post work was done.
