I reckon I would have too. In fact in Tassie in this cold snap I'd have been trying to climb into the box!

BTW it got down to 14.6C here this morning. Bit of a shock to the system!

Two weeks ago coming across the 'saddle' back to Huonville, how the cold blooded animals survive (no shortage of Tiger Snakes) is beyond me.

Wow, looks beautiful but bitterly cold.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I figured this thread would be dominated by Aussies! :p

Australians are such lovely people in my experience, it seems strange that their country is full of animals with lethal bites and stings!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

But we don't have bears or moose or bison or wolves or bobcats or rattlesnakes or tornadoes or crazy people with guns (well, not many anyway)!:-P

Lizard walked across the room tonight and hung about waiting for the photo shoot, then lined up to inspect the results and give me the wink to post :-P
He's sitting on the keyboard as I type

No doubt channelling the words you're typing too. I wonder what he thought of the giant skink on the screen.

Is this a PET skink, or a wild one that got inside your home?

Mm. :-P
It was trying to climb up the screen. One step up, two down. :-P
Gave up on that and ran around the keyboard to some safer spot.
Glad there isn't a port large enough else it would be in there!

both :p
Actually it's probably come in with firewood and decided to stay.
There's plenty of food, flies, insects etc.

They are also abundant outside and could have just walked under the door

A couple pics for a local exhibit here in Phoenix while I was taking the R5 for a few test pics. The lighting in this place is really bad for pictures, and they discourage the use of a flash.
