Wild Eastern Water Dragon taken using the Focus Bracketing Function of the Canon EOS R3.

It was gloomy in the undergrowth so the lens was wide open. Rattling off 20 frames at high speed minimises both operator movement and animal movement, making the Align and Stack process in PS CC more successful.

Taken hand held, braced on my knee as I crouched.

Thanks, they can set some quite striking poses at times, when perched on their favourite lookout, or sunbathing, rock/log.:-)

I understand that the bright red chest area would identify this guy as a male in breeding colours.
