Canon 500mm f/4 Mark 1 IS

Selling my Canon 500mm f/4 IS Mark 1 lens that I have owned for a few years. Body is in great condition (wears a neoprene Lenscoat cover and lens cover) with only minor handling marks and the glass is excellent. Includes Lenscoat and original hard case (no key). This is an absolutely fantastic lens that is sharp as a tack even when used with a 1.4x teleconverter.

Only reason for selling is to a fund a smaller focal length (300mm f/2.8) for outdoor sports.

I can share additional photos with interested buyers.

I actually assumed it was the first EF 500mm f4 - the one without IS - until I looked at the photos.

Someone looking for an IS lens may skip right over this ad.
