Welcome to the forum. By best, you mean the absolute best? Probably a PhaseOne or the Hasselblad H5D but those are in the $50,000~$60,000 range. SLR, probably the Nikon 850 in the $3200 range. Guess I'm trying to say, what price range are you looking for? Depending on your budget, the answer is going to be different.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point..
