This morning I get a spam marketing email. It is an advertisement for CleanMYMAC X. The fine print at the bottom of the email says who sent the email. If you do a reply, it is the subscriber list of persons who have purchased Aurora.

Evidently someone at Skylum in Belleview WA has decided to irritate the customers who have been waiting for years for the Luminar DAM with a marketing campaign trying to resell 3rd party products. IMHO, very poor decision. I suggest they do not try to sell something new until something promised years ago is delivered....and it works

I got the same email - I sent it to my spam folder. I am not purchasing any SkyLum products until I have the DAM and it is useful. I am waiting til December to see i it really does come out.

Actually the senders email address and any fine print tells you nothing about who actually sent the email. It is very easy to spoof an email address and add a bunch of links to make it look like your product is endorsed/associated with another company.

Or maybe they did send it because you missed the tick box for "don't send me rubbish". If they did I am pretty sure there would be an unsubscribe link that will quickly fix the issue.

Sadly, unsubscribe links are not always provided and the only way of avoiding the repetitive nuisance is to set oup a spam filter.
