My son started playing last year and just finished up, so had to get some fun and cool portraits of him in uniform. I am not a "sport's photographer," but enjoyed the challenge. I decided that it would be more edgy to use directional light and a black background. It definitely added some drama and upped the "cool" factor. We are both very pleased with the results.
