We should be in for a fun week as the topic is photobombed -- the spoiling of a photograph by a person or thing unexpectedly appearing in the camera's field of view as the picture is taken, typically as a prank or practical joke.

Let us see what you get up to on this week's challenge.

This challenge begins when posted and will end at 8PM EDST, Thursday Nov 1, 2018. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.
6. Details: Show camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
7. Commenting: Please, NO COMMENTING DURING CHALLENGE feel free to comment in this thread after a winner is declared.
8. Content: Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
9. Have questions? PM me.
10. Have FUN!

I apologize for not selecting a better challenge topic.

First to post and fist place goes to Cuypers1807. One should expect to be photobombed when conducting a wedding ceremony on a public beach, be it human or animal.

My second choice goes to scriveyn. Not sure if it's the POV or intentional that the gentleman in the blue robe is "playing" with the lady's hat. Either way a cool shot.

Thrid place goes to darkslinger. Even with the unexpected bus I like your night shot darkslinger.

Well done everyone.

What's next Cuypers1807?

Thanks Old Crow. I thought it was an excellent topic. Perhaps most throw the photobombs away in editing?
This was my brother's wedding on Wrightsville Beach, NC. He is also a photographer but unfortunately shoots Nikon.
He wanted me to use his camera as well so I had my 70-200 on my 1D3 & a 24-70 on his Nikon D4. Switching back and forth was a pita. One of the kids in the background is actually my daughter. I kept this photo because it made me laugh.
Thanks Monty! I'll have the new challenge up soon. There will be a prize for the winner.

Congrats to Joby. The contrast between the ceremonial and the spontaneous makes a great picture.

Thanks OldCrow, it is a kind of double whammy. I intended to photograph the lady with the hat. So by perspective the gent on the left 'bombed' by his gesture and also the man on the right walked into the picture.
