Are there many Leopards in India and are they easy to find?

You've had some wonderful experiences with the leopards, and some wonderful images to show for it. . I especially like the image in your recent post in which you used fill flash .... the background is very nice and distraction-free, and is a perfect color complement for the leopard's coat. . Thank you for sharing all of this with us.

I am curious about this thread's title. . I don't know what you mean when you say, "for the doubters".

What do you mean by "doubters"? . What is it that people are doubting? . Are there people that doubt that there are really leopards out there in this world of ours?

Any explanation would be helpful.

Hi Tom and thanks for the compliments.

As for the title, i made a comment in a thread last year about how many Leopards and Cheetah we'd been lucky enough to see in our 3 trips (4 now) to Africa and there were a couple of people "doubting" my mathematical skills so i thought i'd start a thread with a few photos of some of the different Leopards I've managed to photograph.

This is a Female in Khwai and the second is a young cub taken in Moremi both from our last trip to Botswana in February .

What a great Idea! We go to Africa every couple of years & have been very lucky with the leopards we've seen. I know what you mean with the "doubters" You can't blame them really, I'm told some people never see Leopards. On one trip to Kruger we saw 11 in 14 days! I'm told they were all different, but I may look thru some of the shots & try to identify them!
