Still crowded in October, I was there the week of the medicane. also santorini and athens. touring was still very nice and the weather made for great skys. BTW I still have my 17-55 but the cheapo 18-55 kit lens is sharper and lighter to carry and if it gets lost or stolen I bought it used for 100 such a great lens!
