I know there's Metabones from before but not sure if anything has developed/changed/improved since then. I shot Sony before and I used the Sigma MC-11 which worked well for me. These adapters are very lens dependent and how they perform really depends on the actual lens. I found my EF 35mm f/2 IS worked perfectly with MC-11 and the AF wasn’t that great on the 100L and 16-35mm, but neither was really AF dependent. It’s been a year since I swapped back but tbh I preferred using native lenses. Hell if I could afford it I would run dual systems but sadly money doesn’t match the G.A.S ![]() Well, that's unfortunately (about finicky adapters). Guess I'll be stuck with the 50 for awhile. Maybe pick up some native UW prime or zoom in the future if I decide to keep the a1 long term. Thanks for the info. Julian

You’re welcome and Sony has plenty of great options, especially with 3rd party gear! GAS feels good in the moment but the guilt after the purchase is the big that gets you lol Haha, that would suck. No guilt here. There are much worse hobbies/habits to have than photography. I still remember my first digital camera fondly, the good ol' Kodak DC 220. 0.99mp. Julian
