Dear All

I used my cannon EOS to take some pictures at my god daughter's wedding last Sunday.

At the beginning i noticed the 4 pictures i took had disappeared from the memory card. So i took some more and able to view all of them.. then afterwards they had disappeared again..

I thought probably they got mixed up amongst hundreds of other pics already in the memory card.. so during the whole wedding i have been taking pictures and also at the same time able to view them..

when i got home i checked they had all disappeared.

I loaded the memory on my laptop .. the wedding pictures no where to be seen..

Can someone help or had similar experience. how can i recover those pics..

I had no warning on the LCD on the Camera.

Please help.. i would be so happy if i could recover those pics...

And when you run ZAR be sure to use the digital image recovery option with the card connected to your computer through a known good card reader.

First, don't erase or format the card. Then try to recover but I'm suspecting that if the they are not there, they may never have been written.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Download r studio demo from https://www.r-studio.com/data-recovery-software/ (external link)
Let me know is it listed with full capacity

If Yes

Try to scan the card and let me know does it show any results. In demo version You can view the pictures but not recover.

I can't find anything that says a PNY card won't work, but what I find that says which cards will work does not include PNY (see https://support.usa.canon.com …page=content&id=FAQ100275 (external link)). That same site says

This camera is compatible with SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, and SDXC memory cards.
However, not all memory cards have been verified to work with the camera.

Has this card ever worked properly in the 650D? If it has worked in the past, do you format the card occasionally, or just delete images using the in camera functions? Has the card ever been used in a different make/model of camera?
