Does Olympus update online User Manuals to include new features of firmware updates. I struggle to find some and have to resort to YouTube/forums etc.
One quick query why might menu E2 'flicker scan' be greyed out even with manual ISO selected?

No I haven't, forums are quicker. Answer is camera needs to be in Electronic first and second-curtain shutter. Toby

Lyndön Goldmember More info Post edited over 5 years ago by Lyndön. | From what I understand, the Flicker Scan is a new function added in FW 2.0 so you can preview the flickering scene when using the electronic shutter and it allows you to adjust your shutter speed to dial out/avoid flicker. This setting is independent of the actual Flicker Reduction setting (D2), and it’s only available in M and S modes when using the fully electronic shutter - according to Darrell Young’s book on the EM1.2
