I have a lot of Flashpoint softboxes and light modifiers that have the flashpoint mount on my monolights. I see that most of Adorama's new studio lighting are going to Bowens mount. Are there any adapters or a way to use my existing softboxes and modifiers with a newer bowens mount strobe?

Thanks!
James

That was like throwing up the bat signal...

I'm totally curious to see what the "Flashpoint" mount looks like. Can you post some pics?

And thank you Helen!

I'm kind of going through this myself in reverse. The (old?) Flashpoint mount is called Glow, not to be confused with the light modifier company Glow (well, it confused me!). I bought a couple softboxes that were Bowen mounts and bought some Glow rings and just switched them out with no problems. James33, what turned out to be your solution?

Something similar was discussed here a few years back. Some of the content might be helpful; see https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1394206.
