I have had alot of interest for Christmas minis this year and in trying to think ahead something has come to mind that makes me think.

I am wanting to do a little prop set outdoors like a little fence and a tree blanket maby a wooden crate or something.
The idea i have in my head is really cute.

BUT i have never done a session like this where there will potential many familys over an extended period of time where the LIGHT WILL CHANGE SO MUCH!!

Do i have to just keep moving my setup chacing the light?
Obviously left in the same place for a half a day the light is going to be horrible some parts of the day.

How do people handle this that setup for all day or half day sessions back to back like this?

I had actually thought about getting a big beach tent and shooting under it?
Any ideas or just keep moving ?

I've done a couple outdoor sessions. Unless you're shooting at sunrise or sunset, the light shouldn't be a major issue. I always opted for a spot that was shaded from direct light and added some fill flash with an off camera speedlight. And if all else fails, Lightroom can still save your butt.
