9.7/10 - Minor blemishes on lens hood, lens barrel, and a couple of specks of dust inside, prevent it from being a perfect 10. The glass is flawless - rear element is perfect, and the front element has always been protected by a high-quality UV filter, since day one of ownership. This item has never been dropped and all of its functions work perfectly. I baby all of my photography gear.
