I was walking across the street and saw this. Had just the basics with me, but I still thought this one turned out decent. Any C&C that might help me learn and grow appreciated.

Thanks

Good one. The shot is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary - I think because of the harsh sunlight.

I this case, Including the entire captial building (because you've just barely cut the top off). Maybe an off-center composition- perhaps standing behind the left wheel of the right side police car and using portrait framing to emphasize the height of the building and depth of the shot. Just some ideas.

I think it would be better if the building was more in focus. It looks more like the street is sharper and the top of the building wasnt cropped off. I like the line that the police cars make.

Lol, very nice concept. The picture seems a bit soft, what camera did you use? I agree with the previous comments, and would like to add that you might want to take the picture from a worm's eye view, with a wide angle. This will emphasize one of the cars in the foreground, as well as the building, which hopefully will be all in the frame. Also, I would wait for a day when there are interesting cloud formations which would make the shot more dramatic.

Hmm, I think it was a special occurance at the capitol that had all the cops there. Might be hard to convince them to show up when the clouds are just right... still I might threaten to shoot a senator?.... nah, not worth it. Maybe I can figure out how to get some clouds in PSCS2??
