In any case, no IBIS means sharps photos will be a real challenge without the EVF... And it seems like the girl in the Canon simulation was trying hard not to tax the Eye AF too much. Yes it will be very interesting to learn more about it. I am most curious about the price and how competitively they price it. If it’s on the cheaper side, that would explain no ibis. Aug 19, 2019 21:44 | #335 Excited! Will be waiting for pricing details and he rest of the specs. Sounds good so far. 14 FPS, would this be mechanical or electronic shutter? A silent mode would be very nice. Probably a new battery since the LP-E17 would not likely provide sufficient juice for video.

Apricane Shooting the breeze More info | Aug 20, 2019 07:02 | #337 Interesting. Still doesn't look like it's an upgrade for me. I might be proven wrong, but I still think the resolution will make it challenging to shoot handheld in most situation, especially in low-light indoor settings (museums, historical buildings) which is what I usually use my M6 for. I also don't understand the resolution. It's just about 350 lines more than 8K, so if you minimally need to crop to straighten an image, you use that up easily... then I don't understand the use of the extra pixels. With the M6 you already have almost 2x digital zoom if you want to crop to 4K; more just isn't necessary, unless you're taking picture of that dog jumping in the swimming pool from 2-3 houses down, in which case it isn't as fun... JasonC do I need to submit a resume...? More info | Aug 20, 2019 14:15 | #339 Well, if Canon ever plops that 32MP sensor into the M100 (MKIII ?), I'll consider it. Otherwise, I'm good with my current kit. Equipment & Feedback

Aug 21, 2019 16:45 | #340 I've been trying to work the M5 into paid shoots more and more recently. There's a few situations where the M5 actually suits the situation better than my 6D's. I've always found 6Ds and their limited focus points a little awkward at head shots. With the facetracking on the M5, I can just put them wherever I want in the frame. Every single shot from the session was in focus. Also the 11-22 is the widest lens I own right now, so that was my only choice for a quick commercial session where they wanted some rolling shots of their work vans "on the way". I love this little camera! Image hosted by forum (995001) © BallerStatus [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
