I'm using a manual focus 12mm lens, and the peaking is telling me everything is in focus, but the image looks out of focus when I chimp. The lens is being used wide open (f/2.0). I've shot films with focus peaking on numerous non-Canon cameras (f/1.4 lenses with speedbooster) and it's been very reliable to say the least. So I'm not sure if it's a MFD issue or if Canon's implementation of focus peaking is enough to ballpark focus only.

I personally think the M6II would have been better off with a fixed EVF but I guess people who want that will now go to the M50. I love the fixed EVF on my M5 and wouldn't consider a camera without it, personally. Olympus M1 MkII, Olympus M5 MkIII: Lenses covering 8 - 300mm
