A couple of my 2020 favorites with the M6 Mark II. This camera can produce great images, especially when you pair it with good glass.

Great photo. The EF-M 22 seems to be the sufficient reason to get an M!

Thank you. I think there are a lot of reasons to get an M if you aren't a pro (and maybe even if you are). I find it to be a very inexpensive system with great primes. The 32 is even better than the 22. The zooms have limitations but you can try to work around them. The lack of IBIS, weather sealing and full-frame sensor doesn't bother me and the small size means I can take it everywhere, especially with the 22 mounted.
Of course it's not the system canon tries to develop the most, but I don't need much more than what it offers right now. And my 6D and L lenses are collecting dust. Of course, everything depends on your needs.

I agree that the 32 is a terrific little lens. The AF is not very fast, but the resolution and contrast are amazing. Here are 2 examples from my catalog.

Currently I’m very tempted by the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 as I have the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM but my copy is very soft and leaves a lot to be desired wide open.

The Sigma does have some pretty decent sales from time to time so I may get one during Boxing Day sales.
