Noticed a new UFO on images taken with my copy of the above lens. On closer inspection there is a splodge within the lens that's big enough and located in a place where it's unmissable when viewing images. Said splodge is internal, not able to be removed by me. I can, of course delete it in post-processing but I would prefer to get rid of it permanently. Canon CPS informs me that this lens is categorized as 'This product is not eligible for Fast Track repair'. So I don't have much confidence in getting this sorted at a reasonable price by them. As this lens is an absolute favourite of mine and is replaceable at around £300, can any UK members of this forum please suggest where I can try for a fix, so to speak?
