I have a problem with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II camera which I recently bought. It is my understanding that when you put your eye against the view finder there is a sensor that will immediately activate the EVF. Mine does not automatically activate. In the menu I have set the EVF Auto Switch to “On” and this is supposed to enable the Eye Sensor. But it is not enabled when I raise the EVF to my eye. I suppose I may have a defective sensor, but maybe there is another reason. I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with this.

Just tried my E-M5 Mark II and it switches when I turn my EVF Auto Switch to "On". I have mine turned off and use a button to switch between the EVF and screen.

Thank you for your help. I returned my camera to Adorama and will order another.
