You might want to look at the latest numbers in the various markets... In one case, Sony a73 beat out the R, RP, and Nikon's offering combined. Canon, by their own admission, are seeing the worst sales ever, and are reorganizing funding to other departments.

It is going to be a rocky year or two for Canon's photographic division.
