I e-mailed a friend a link to my member page. She replied: "You have really branched out with your photography. I couldn't see them enlarged because I had to sign in, apparently, to do that." Is there a way she can get from gallery thumbnails to the full-size images without joining?

No.

Reason for this is bandwidth costs.
I have thought to some day have lower resolution high compression watermarked versions shown for public, let's see if that can happen.

Thank you. I thought she or I might be doing it wrong because, before I joined, I could see thread pages, with ads.

Perhaps this was intentionally changed when we switched from V-Bulletin to AMASS ?

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

No doubt the change has something to do with it. Galleries didn't even exist at V-Bulletin. I don't know what features are available to nonmembers; I haven't tried logging out to check. The numbers of guests given on the index page suggest that they can probably see images (indeed, why would people join without having seen some?). They just can't get there from galleries.

In vBulletin a log in was required to see attachments. Not even thumbnails were shown.
