I would seriously, seriously suggest never using that method unless you are just looking for a quick, no fuss export. Save for Web and Devices is a much more powerful tool.

Does that tool not strip out the EXIF as the old "Save for Web" did?

I think you can select on SFW to strip EXIF, might default to off, or am I thinking of the colour profile...

I normally leave exif in on my standard workflow except for GPS data which the raw conversion strips out, TBH I rarely turn the camera GPS on, even when I intend to I generally forget it.

Try an uncompressed save and post. I never use compression with jpg.

However I am looking at modifications for the web conversion action to improve the apparent JPEG sharpness.

I found one does need quite strong sharpening for it show before the down sample, this is my latest iteration which shows the original sharpness better I think.
