darkslinger - this image works well in back and white. I like how your shutter speed was long enough to capture some pedestrian motion.

teekay - like this fall composition especially how the clouds made way for the sun to peak through.

just whistle - great color contrasts and detail in the wasp.

dilorenzo1954 - nice environmental portrait. Like how the blue smoke trails off behind the glass piece being worked.

texkam - a grand looking selfie with an equally grand background.

The win goes to just whistle for the great color and detail in the wasp.

Second place goes to darkslinger.

HM to teekay.

Well done everyone. What's next Lesley?

I would have liked to participate. . Unfortunately, I didn't see this thread until last night, about two hours after the deadline had passed.

When the deadline is 7pm EASTERN time, that means that here on the western side of the country it's 4pm. . It's still daylight at 4pm, and many of us are still out and about, and don't come home and get online until after 5 o'clock .... which would be 8 o'clock eastern.

I'm not suggesting that things should have been done differently. . This is a global forum and no deadline time is going to be ideal for everyone. I was just explaining why I wasn't able to participate in this challenge.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Wow, thank you so much, Don! I would have been hard-pressed to come to a decision this week, glad I didn't have to do it! lol

Congrats to darkslinger and teekay. I'll get the next challenge posted shortly.
