That is looking good. Are these stacked? If not, it almost looks as if the dof is improved.

Thanks, #1 and 2 are two frame stacks, #3 is 4 frames. All shots set f- stop was f/8, subjects are 1-2 mm long.

You probably know better than me, this is the ID I used before for ones in the same place.

This species is very similar to Dicyrtomina ornata, however D. ornata has a solid patch of dark pigment at the posterior end of the abdomen whereas in Dicyrtomina saundersi, this patch has a distinctive "multi-barred cross" pattern.

Ah ok they are both a bit barred https://www.naturespot​.org.uk/node/132553 but D. saundersi the barres are more separated being a good match for my specimen, quite tough isn't it.


I have some older shots marked as D. ornate, I think this is safe, what do you think?
