"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thank you to all the participants! I enjoyed seeing everyone's different choices for the subject. Each shot is worthy of first place for different reasons but as usual I must make the difficult decision.:-)

First place is County Fair by Mark. I love the blue hour lighting, the action of the rides, the sliver moon, just everything!

Second place has to go to darkslinger. You are the ICM expert!

Third place is Zoom blur by OldCrow. I think this worked well and is quite timely.

dilorenzo, the B&W was a good choice for your Spinnin' Wheels.

Tom, I like your lady on the horse. Great action.

teekay, you nailed the water blur, nice one!

Ltdave, nice capture of the drummer.

Congratulations to Mark, well done! What's the next challenge?

Thanks, Lesley. The moon that night looked a lot larger, but using a somewhat wide angle lens (my TSE 24mm) made it much smaller in the frame. I was disappointed when I saw the final image, although I'm happy with how it turned out overall.

Nice shots, all. Loved your creek picture, teekay.

New challenge up shortly.
