I just got the email and got the same deal .

I replied my info address like they said about ordering around 2:15pm PST and did not get a response from CPW, well maybe tomorrow will get it done. Hopefully price still the same

Ok pulled the trigger thru CPW. Now waiting game it says 1-3 days free expedite shipping.

Mine arrived in 3 days (to SoCal).

I thought I did good at $1635 through Greentoe. That was on 12/4 though, so a few days before this. I presume the CPW price is the same as the thread? It's a beyond amazing lens. I've rented it twice before. Glad to just own it now.

Yes, CPW price was $1535. Unbelievable!

Ordered mine last night and until now it shows being process for shipment and they are about to close Eastern time .

Bah. Always a better deal. Oh well, 1635 is even a good price. I believe at the time the CPW price was 1699.

Me, too. I almost ordered the lens without the cleaning kit and then I went back because I thought I'd seen it at the same price and sure enough it was. The gloves and lipstick type brush are cool.

Woohoo. I'm glad many were able to get the deal. I just received an email from CPW and the price is now $1699. Glad I was not stubborn and waited for a better deal. I'd been watching and waiting since the lens came out.

$664 off the list price of $2199 just seemed like it was too good to be true, but it actually wasn't. My internal "cutoff" was "below $1600," in that I had promised myself that if it ever went below $1600 (had to be from authorized dealer, not grey market, etc.) I would get it. Of course, I never thought that would happen. When it became available for $1535 and all of my other conditions were also met, I had to go ahead and get it.

I mean, a promise is a promise, right??

Agreed. What choice did ya have? NONE!

I’ve been bit by that kind of criteria on green toe. I think I had an offer out at 1600 when I got the 1635 counter and took it. I love this lens. The only way it would be better is if it weighed about 10 lbs less.

Yeah, I hear ya. I could no longer pass it up either.

Finally got mine at the end of the day wow when UPS say end of the day really end of the day lol. 8:30pm to be exact. Now I am really happy I found this thread and even me was always in the look out for the price. Thanks Methodical. For 1535 is one heck of the deal being patient paid off.
