I'm trying to get this astrophotography sorted out. Here is a first attempt with the Orion Nebula. I have some work to do on processing, but I'm having fun trying!

Thanks all. The photography part I've got covered. It's learning all the little details in the programs. I had another shot the same night of the Pleiades and Comet 64p; the points of interest are fine but there are an awful lot of starts in the background. Not completely sure if it is real, noise, or processing problem!

Great image, and welcome to the wonderful world of astro work!

If you could post a sample of a single sub, along with the processed one, cropped, can help identify stars, noise, processing, aliens, etc.
