Playing with the new lens. Lighting isn't the best with bright windows and florescent lights. I used a single speed light mounted to the 5d4 with small soft box. Flash was tun aprox 1/4 power.

I moved locations from the two different class schedules. I can't move around once class starts.

Anything blaring at you?

What could I do different?

Love the Tag.... it just adds to who she is... I love perfect pictures of imperfect subjects... find them to be way more compelling. She has ample cuteness to make up for the tag.

Keep at it... not saying that the lens gets the credit... so let me put it this way.... you did really good taking advantage of that lenses capabilities. Also love the low angle.

My only nit with the second one is it looks like it is missing pure whites.... perhaps drop highlights and bump white up a bit. Give her eyes more punch. But thats a nit... this is isn't a competition.

I don't take any critique as a negative but rather a way to better what I do. So thank you for all feedback

I have an ok monitor which is not set up right. This is not the first time I have been told my whites are not true. I am settling balance off what I see in my monitor donif anyone has suggestions how tune tune my screen (software etc.) That would be a plus for me.

I am also not the person to run in and fix the tag either in person (disturbing) or in post, imperfections are a part of life. I don't edit out tape lines on the floor etc.

To me, the moments are more pure, and we'll, things get in the way and are not always "perfect"

Again, thanks for the feedback.

On another note, shooting small people, I try to get small, shooting big people, well, I try to get big ߘ

Isn't it funny how we all have different views on what we like.

I love both of these images, but the first one is just lovely. Shows the wonderful innocence of children...... however ;-)a

I would have photoshopped out the small purple bow (I think it is) as I keep getting drawn to it.

Only my opinion though
