The sellers vary but seem to have positive reviews. Amazon also backs the sale from what I know. Anything to be wary of?

I've been holding off on upgrading Lightroom to the subscription service and adding a new 7D2 will help me continue using the stand alone.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The first link takes me to the 7D2 being sold by "Sales Pro 55". I don't see the 7D2 in the second link, just newer cameras.

Thanks for your help.

You are correct, and I must have been unaware that Amazon has changed where the link to the seller. It used to be right where the link to Canon is, ie: just under the product headline where it says "by Canon"
At least that's what I always went by. I would click that link all the time to see what else a seller has. Maybe I've been doing it wrong all these years.

The prices for both new and used 7D2 have stayed reasonably high, and it is surprising to me as well given how long ago the camera was released. It must still be serving a niche though as they're still quite popular.

For the OP I wouldn't hesitate buying something marked Amazon Prime as they've resolved every issue I've ever had with a 3rd party provider.

looking to purchase the 7D2 to upgrade from my T1i. My concern is, this product ships from Sales Pro 55 through Prime. Can I trust this is a legit and brand new camera? Even with he kit lens it is still a great deal. I'm just hoping it not too good to be true and I trust your opinions. Thank you.

Are you dead set on a 7D ll?? Just curious because there are a lot of really good deals out there right now for FF & crop bodies. I have 2 7D Mark l and was looking into getting the Mark ll but went another way when I saw the deals around.

Not sold by Sales Pro 55, ships from them.
It was offered earlier on Amazon for less. I've attached a screenshot of the price history in December.

That is really cool that you can track the price. The Amazon app I am on states "Ships from and sold by SALES PRO 55".

I sent 2 emails regarding the cameras being new and to include a warranty card. Still waiting for a response. I placed an order, but through a different link from a different seller. It was like $8 more but included a bunch of small items with a couple appearing to be useful. I'll update the thread when the camera arrives.

I have T2i & 7D Mark I. They get quite a workout as I shoot sports, & shutter count is very high so I needed to update bodies & the 7D Mark ll & 80D were looked at. I was tired of the IQ of images @ high ISO (I know the Mark ll is slightly better than the original 7D) & decided to go FF. The 6D Mark l is cheaper now than the 7D Mark ll. I got it for $1,000 with shoulder bag, extra battery, & memory card. Now you also get 13 months of "Canon Care". The difference in IQ very noticeable. That was 2 months ago & I just picked up the 6D Mark ll as my second body. I have a 400mm F/5.6 that never even left the house during night games, now I can use it at high ISO without terrible noise.

The only thing to look out for are your current lenses. If they are for crop sensor only you may not be able to go FF.

You need to have this browser extension called Honey Price Tracker. I use it a lot.

Congrats on the new camera :)
