Apology for the stupid question but i am looking for something more versatile than my current 35mm, something multi purpose and i think 24-70mm is looking good.

Had done quick research on Tamron, Sigma, Canon & Sony lenses. From my understanding, the one that will fit straight onto the eMount is Sigma & Sony right?

Which 24-70mm that is bang for buck for my Sony A7ii? Will it be cost benefit in purchasing the legendary Canon 24-70 and an adapter?

Any input will be much appreciated!

Tamron 28-75 when it comes back in stock. No adapters needed since its made for Sony E-mount and just a fantastic lens according to everyone that reviews it.
