Both cool shots. Only issue is with the second shot, the blow out highlight really detracts from an otherwise nice and dramatic image. I like the people in the image, adds scale.

Like 'em both. At first I thought #1 was selective color. I think the bright area of clouds adds to the scene, and it doesn't look blown out to me. As for scale, the people on the left are so far away it doesn't give an accurate idea; if they had been in the circle perhaps.

I've been to Stonehenge. It was smaller than I'd imagined. Almost disappointingly so. The people in the background of your photo don't give an idea of the scale but make the structure appear larger and the photo more dramatic. That is good. If the people were in the circle it'd be just another tourist photo. When I went there there were hundreds of people there. I wondered how you'd photographed it with no other people in it. I also love the dramatic clouds and the bright spot in them. Excellent, dark, brooding photo. I love the first photo too, and the man on a mission with his bucket adds to it.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

But the weather always looks just like that.

I've been there twice now. The first time was 20 years ago and there were limited crowds and you would just drive up and see it. Now it's a nightmare. You go into a tourist area with thousands of people and then take a bus in and walk in a circle around the stones (and pretty far away at that). I prefer to remember it as it was before and modified the photo for just that. The hordes of tourists and selfie sticks were cloned out and sky was replaced with something more menacing. I would not recommend going there unless in the area and it's a small detour.

The other shot is from a small historic town outside of Shanghai. Limited post processing on that one but did clean up the noise from shooting high ISO. Both were shot on an old Contax 35-70 zoom. Appreciate the feedback and comments everyone.
