I'll try to slow down mother nature for you !

Hey man, thanks. I am afraid I might be a week or so late. Then again, I will be checking out different elevations, so I might find something at lower elevations.

The dark skies are amazing...

Thank you. The scene didn't last long: it was gone in just a couple of minutes.

Took the RF 24-240 out the the lake yesterday had about 10 minutes of good diffused light. I am happier with the sharpness of the lens than with my inability to get DoF right on the first try. The sun broke through, which ended the session.

NOTE: I set the EXIF to RF 24-105 in order for the focal lengths to show up and be able to add it to my gallery. Adding it to the gear database has been requested.

aezoss, thanks for the location info. I have been out there a number of times and know what you mean by the "gravel with a lot of ruts". For me, the scenery and the photography is well worth it.

Next time, if you haven't done it, a side trip to the Kananaskis Lakes, particularly the Upper one is quite worth it.

This is gorgeous. The rock at the front looks a little big and dominant but the view toward the end that allows us to peak into the sky and forest is amazing! Love it!

Beautiful perspective. The cascades of the waterfall look 3D in this. Lovely!
