Is this just a singular wall from an old Castle??

It is the old church tower on Glastonbury Tor.

Thank you

I just googled "old church tower on Glastonbury Tor." and found (external link)

Which appears here to have a full structure with 4 sides.

Your photo to me "Looks" like a single wall. This may be partially due to the fact looking thru the doorway at bottom center I see clouds.

On the right hand side I do now see what looks like more wall going back a ways.

Probably would not stand up too well with one wall :) you do get three sided tower follies on the UK however.

The perspective distortion of being in the corner of a 24mm lens does make it look a bit flat.

One of my favorite photographic subjects, nice work. You seem to have some nicer specimens out there in CA than we do in CO.

Wow...what an incredible root system! Nice capture!

It is below the spillway so it is flooded quite often in the spring and fall causing erosion. Thank you, Mike!

It is the old church tower on Glastonbury Tor.

Visited and photographed the tower way back in the days of film. I remember the Tor being alive with rabbits!
