yeah, parts of Death Valley certainly feel alien.

At the racetrack I had the feeling that if an alien spaceship landed, it really wouldn't be out of place. I'd be like 'uh I guess aliens really do exist' and carry on.

Same...that place was cool as hell too.

As the sunset descended upon Elephant Cove near town of Denmark in Wester Australia back in March, the light, colours and mood turned very much like I was on Mars.

Busted out the tripod this weekend! I feel I should get a bit closer to things in general for wide-angle shots, but it's really uncomfortable scrunching down to check through the viewfinder.

When you can walk away with shots like that, know that it was worth the discomfort. They are stunning.

Got stuff ;)

A recent trip to a lavender field that had very little lavender, so I made the most of the lovely wild flowers

One of the advantages I've found with the flip out screen is there is less scrunching when the camera is on a tripod, just flip it out and you can see the shot in live view without peering through the view finder. (should you ever get a camera with the flip out screen)

You've got a couple of really nice shots in there.

That and using your phone to control the camera.
