I can't confirm that it will fit a 1DX2. But if I had to take a guess, I would say a gripped body probably would not fit. The 1 week I used this bag I used it with 2 Ungripped 5D Mark IV's. While there was some extra space above the body, Im not sure if it's enough room for a grip.

In regards to using with a gripped camera I use it with my Canon 1D4 and a gripped Canon 7D. It is a bit tight but they do fit.
