Hi all,
Just received an invite to Canons professional services support plan. They want a list of your kit, and serial numbers.
Eeeeek! I have a Canon EF f1.4 50mm lens,, and despite using a torch and magnifier, I can't find a serial number.
Can anyone suggest where I migh find it? Sometimes the numbers are visible on Photoshop / Bridge but I can't see that one. Any suggestions?

You might want to review the thread at https://photo.stackexchange.com …s-serial-number-from-exif (external link). It may or may not be possible depending on a few variables. Also check comments about XnView (https://www.xnview.com/en/xnview/ (external link)) and the comments about "exiftool" (see http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ (external link)).
